Outstanding Contributions to the Teaching of World Languages in the Pacific Northwest

It is time to think of those outstanding teachers and administrators who are deserving of recognition of PNCFL for their “above and beyond” contribution to the world language community in the Pacific Northwest and beyond.

This award recognizes an individual who has made an outstanding contribution to the teaching and learning of world languages in the Pacific Northwest over an extended period of time. Nominees should be service-oriented leaders in the field, working to support world language education in their state and region. Nominees must have been a member of PNCFL for a minimum of the last three consecutive years.

Each state association may nominate one person for the Outstanding Contributions to the Teaching of World Languages in the Pacific Northwest award according to the following guidelines.

Successful nominees in the past have contributed at various levels: local, state, and national.

Please explain how this individual has made an outstanding contribution to the teaching and learning of world languages in the Pacific Northwest over an extended period of time.

Nominees may not have won this award before nor may they be members of the PNCFL board at the time of nomination.

Each nomination must be submitted before 5:00 pm Pacific time on Tuesday, February 15th, 2022.
